Whats up guys! Happy New Year!



Hope you guys all had a great week, good Christmas and Happy new year. I'm pretty solid. The mission is going pretty well. We've been on our grind these last couple weeks. Teaching lots, talking lots, and a whole lot of other stuff. We've been able to find some good people, but not a whole lot of people who have progressed super far. But we did find my boy Romildo, he came to church last week because his buddy came and we were able to teach him a couple times this week but it was hard cause his buddy was just smoking and drinking during the lessons so that didn't help too much. Then his buddy went on a trip and we were able to teach him alone and it was super good! He came to church again on Sunday and we were able to mark a date with him for this Saturday to be baptized! It was super awesome and he's a super good dude, but still needs some work. No one else came to church tho which kinda sucked but it's alright.

One thing that I focused on this week was gratitude. It was getting kinda hard not having a whole lot of success in this area, but I decided to focus on the good things and the blessings that we are seeing. I've seen my testimony of God grow so much this week. He really is a God of miracles and loves us so much. Sometimes in life it's pretty hard and feels like the stuff just isn't going right, but there are always so many awesome and good things in our lives! So each time you're feeling down, take a look around and find that good things, because they're there to be found. 

Not a whole lot else happening around here, the people were going crazy with the fireworks here last night, but we were sleeping so it was chill.

Spiritual Thought:
Mosiah 24: 12-15
12 And Alma and his people did not raise their voices to the Lord their God, but did pour out their hearts to him; and he did know the thoughts of their hearts. 
13 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage.
 14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
 15 And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord did strengthen them that they could bear up their burdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.
In the hard times it's so important to lean on the lord. He will bless us if we com unto him!

  What up everyone! How are you guys doing? Hope you guys have a had a solid one. This week was super awesome! We made a goal to find good people this week and it went really well! We had some really good lessons but it was also a real grind so pday is coming in clutch. We managed to get 4 people in church this week which were all new people from this week! It was a big time miracle. We are also hoping to get two people on date for this last weekend in March! This month and transfer have really flown by. Time flies on the mission really. Next week we have transfers so I hope that I stay here but I'm willing to go wherever, it's all on the Lord's timing rn. This week we also made a big effort to go out with members and we had some awesome member lessons. The spirit is always so strong when we get out with the members and it's been so helpful! The work here is going really well and I'm super excited. The miracles are coming which has been awesome. Just gotta keep grin...

February 12, 2024 -- Sao Miguel dos Campos, Aracaju, Brazil

Whats up everyone! Hope you guys are doing well. I'm solid. This week was kinda crazy. We've been living with six elders in one house for like a week now and it's been crazy. It's so hard to keep anything clean or organized and we have like no food but it's been way fun.  This week was good tho! Weve been progressing a lot and I've just been taking it one day at a time. We have two dates marked for this Sunday with Diana and her son. Please pray from them! They are so awesome and doing awesome stuff! I'm super excited for them. This week might also be my last week here in São Miguel so I'm hoping to finish out strong! We've been working with some other people too and we were able to have 4 people in church this week which was awesome. It's the most We've been able to get in a Sunday here in São Miguel. This week we worked and walked alot and it was super good! This week was crazy tho because the zone leaders did a division with the assistants...

February 26, 2024 - Estancia, Sergipe, Brazil

Hey what's up everyone! How are you guys doing? Hope you guys had a great weekend. I'm gonna make this email short because it's only been like 3 days.  But I made it to my new area! It's a super cool place. It's a city called Estância and it's super beautiful. There's like rivers all throughout the city and it's super cool. The people here are awesome and the food is too. Our first night a member invited us over to eat with them and the food was sooooo good. Probably one of the best meals I've had here on the mission. This area is a branch so it's a little different than the places that I've been at, but it's so awesome. The members are so great and church yesterday was awesome. I got to introduce myself in sacrament meeting and everyone was super cool. I'm super excited for this transfer! Being a District Leader has been pretty cool so far too.  The transfer was kind of crazy tho because our first bus ride took way long so we missed ...
