January 22, 2024 -- Sao Miguel dos Campos, Alagoas, Brazil

Whats up everyone! How are you guys doing? Hope everything is going well! Hear that there is some snow back home so thats pretty dope, its so hot hear so some snow would be cool.

This week was pretty good. We had zone p day on monday which was super fun. We played a ton of soccer and I really am so bad but its alright. Brazilians are crazy tho. Zone pday is always dope to see some people I haven't seen since getting here. Then on Tuesday we had zone conference. Sister Hanks always makes waffles for zone conference with maple syrup and peanut butter and nutella. One of my favorite meals hear on the mission. Then zone conference was really good and super uplifiting. I learned a lot about how I can study better and help people follow Christ! Its always super awesome to hear from President and Sister Hanks. On Monday night we stayed at the AP's house and ordered a giant pizza. It was so fire! Pizza here is kinda goofy but this pizza was like an American Pizza. It was huge too. Slices bigger than my head. 

The rest of the week was pretty solid. It felt really busy and was a little short because of zone conference but thats alright. We've been working with some people and were hoping to get some people baptized here soon. My portuguese is getting better and better everyday which has been super nice. But the other night we were coming into our house and my bag got caught on the door handle and it broke. So now

its kinda hard to get in our house but thats alright. 

This week we learned a lot about repentance and the atonement. It really is amazing because it is through repentance an faith that we are converted to Christ. There are so many other things that we can do to understand and get to know our Savior, but its through faith and repentance that we become converted. And one thing that I started to reflect on this week is how the Atonement of Christ heals and cures everything, not just sin. The power of the Atonement is there for us to use in our daily lives when we make mistakes but also to heal us. We can use this power to heal injuries, illness, relationships, problems, misfortunes. It has the power to cure everything. So we need to make sure to use it when we can!

  What up everyone! How are you guys doing? Hope you guys have a had a solid one. This week was super awesome! We made a goal to find good people this week and it went really well! We had some really good lessons but it was also a real grind so pday is coming in clutch. We managed to get 4 people in church this week which were all new people from this week! It was a big time miracle. We are also hoping to get two people on date for this last weekend in March! This month and transfer have really flown by. Time flies on the mission really. Next week we have transfers so I hope that I stay here but I'm willing to go wherever, it's all on the Lord's timing rn. This week we also made a big effort to go out with members and we had some awesome member lessons. The spirit is always so strong when we get out with the members and it's been so helpful! The work here is going really well and I'm super excited. The miracles are coming which has been awesome. Just gotta keep grin...

Whats up everyone! Hope you guys are doing well. I'm solid. This week was kinda crazy. We've been living with six elders in one house for like a week now and it's been crazy. It's so hard to keep anything clean or organized and we have like no food but it's been way fun.  This week was good tho! Weve been progressing a lot and I've just been taking it one day at a time. We have two dates marked for this Sunday with Diana and her son. Please pray from them! They are so awesome and doing awesome stuff! I'm super excited for them. This week might also be my last week here in São Miguel so I'm hoping to finish out strong! We've been working with some other people too and we were able to have 4 people in church this week which was awesome. It's the most We've been able to get in a Sunday here in São Miguel. Hey what's up everyone! How are you guys doing? Hope you guys had a great weekend. I'm gonna make this email short because it's only been like 3 days.  But I made it to my new area! It's a super cool place. It's a city called Estância and it's super beautiful. There's like rivers all throughout the city and it's super cool. The people here are awesome and the food is too. Our first night a member invited us over to eat with them and the food was sooooo good. Probably one of the best meals I've had here on the mission. This area is a branch so it's a little different than the places that I've been at, but it's so awesome. The members are so great and church yesterday was awesome. I got to introduce myself in sacrament meeting and everyone was super cool. I'm super excited for this transfer! Being a District Leader has been pretty cool so far too.  The transfer was kind of crazy tho because our first bus ride took way long so we missed ...
